TF WET F

TF WET F is a kind of fatty acid derivative used for oil wetting on the drill cutting, weighting material in non-aqueous drilling fluids system. It can enhance the oil-wet performance of weighting material, drill cutting and improve the emulsion stability. TF WET F has good environment acceptable property comparing with aromatic derivative wetting agent, which is quite proper for building the synthetic-based mud system.

Application

TF WET F is an environment acceptable wetting agent applied in both OBM and SBM.

TF WET F can enhance the oil-wet performance on weighting material, drill cutting and improve the emulsion stability.

It is compatible with different additives in both OBM and SBM.

TF WET F can be applied at the temperature up to 150 ℃.

Recommended Handling

The recommended concentration is 1.0%-1.5% (10 to 15 L/m3) of total circulation drilling fluids volume while the MW is around 1.6 to 2.0 S.G. For FC related OBM system, TF WET F is not needed while the mud density of the new building OBM system is lower than 2.20 SG with barite.

The concentration should be adjusted according to the MW, total solids content and oil-water ratio.

Slowly mix TF WET F into the drilling fluids system with effectively running shear pump or mixing pump, prefer to mix TF WET F with base oil while drilling and adjust the concentration according to ROP and open hole size.

Pilot tests should be done prior to mixing TF WET F with different kinds organic clays or emulsifiers, and the FC related OBM products are highly recommended to avoid surfactant un-compatible problems.

Packaging and Storage

TF WET F is packaged in metal or plastic drum for 50L/dr, 200L/dr or as customer required. Bioassay information is not available upon request. Handle as an industrial chemical, wearing protective equipment and observing the precautions as described on the transportation and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS). It can be transported as normal inert chemicals which should be kept in dry and the period of validity is 24 months.
